Why now?

Reflex nutrition haven't had a protein bar for many years now and we've always been wondering why? According to them the machinery to make protein bars has been very limited for a number of years. Because of this, it affects the type of recipes that can be made for a protein bar, enabling only very basic recipes that don't require a great deal of imagination. Reflex nutrition decided not to simply offer another unimaginative protein bar that every other sport supplement brand is doing. They want to offer something revolutionary to their customers and be the leaders of their field by adhering to their Reflex ethos. Until recently creating a protein bar that would be both revolutionary and a high quality product, was not possible. But Reflex Nutrition decided to build a protein bar factory full of state of the art equipment so they could fulfil their goal of creating the best protein bars in existence, hence the R-bar was born. What makes this bar so revolutionary?

When we think of a revolutionary protein bar we think of how it differs to its competitors and how it will make a difference to the sport supplement industry. The R-bar contains many different qualities that will challenge its competitors protein bars. These qualities include:

Taste and Texture

Everyone loves tasty food but unfortunately a lot of the time something that tastes good, normally isn't very good for you. Luckily for you, this protein bar has got rid of a wide variety of artificial ingredients and other ingredients that are normally coined as bad for you (as I will cover later). But this protein bar does not lack in taste and texture, in fact we believe the R-Bar could be softer and better tasting than anything you will have tasted to date. Quality and Source of Ingredients

The R-bar prides itself on the quality of its ingredients. It also prides itself on leaving out a wide variety of ingredients that are coined as bad for you including artificial ingredients such as flavouring, colours and sweeteners and glucose syrups, corn syrups and soy protein. Reflex Nutrition really have made an effort to give you good quality ingredients and pack it into an easily consumable protein bar and that is what they've done. They have gone about doing this in a variety of different ways. One example is that they have used soluble “gluco fibre” as a alternative and a supposed healthier option to the IMO and GMO corn fibre. Another ingredient that they are very proud of is their use of Milk Protein that has been sourced from the EU, grass fed and is free from bovine growth hormone. They also have EU sourced vegetable Glycerine that has been extracted from rapeseed which has a low glycemic index and when consumed leads to a slower increase in blood sugar compared to alternatives. c003_01_i01
