In this blog, I wanted to speak to you about an ingredient I very much like, patented from Nuliv science AstraGin®.

I personally use this in all my formulated products for Biohack Pharmaceuticals, but plenty and plenty of other brands use it, Strom Sports Nutrition, Ghost Lifestyle Supplements, MyoBlox and the new CSN Supplements range (much more on that later).

So why do so many companies use it? And what is it doing for you?

Is it going to be costly?

Now I'm telling you, AstraGin® is NOT an expensive ingredient, at the advised dose of 50mg at 30 servings you are looking around 50p per tub, which is nothing! For the ability, it can create its more of a case of why not!

For example, Serum Code infl8 has both Citrulline and Creatine in there, so that is why I put 100mg AstraGin® ..... well, the real reason is that I wanted it to be undeniable and AstraGin® at 100mg certainly plays its role in the formula looking crazy AF.

Now how does Astragin do this?

It does it by up-regulating the absorption specific mRNA and transporters, such as SGLT1, CAT1, and GLUT4.

AstraGin® has shown in 16 in-vitro and 8 in-vivo studies that are published in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, Molecular Nutrition & Food Research and Scientific that show the above statement.

So that is AstraGin® for all intent and purpose in sports nutrition. A nice well worth adding to most supplement stacks.
